IMG_0824 The Annual Sagicor Sigma run/walk is a fundraiser for the fight against cancer. Heals were burning calves were sore but the feeling of satisfaction was evident on each participants face. Knowing the reason and the importance of this specific event made it all well worth it. Even the sun played its part on a nice Sunday morning in Kingston Jamaica the staging was perfect. Reggae Dancehall Artist Raine Seville was one of the many celebrities along with Headline Entertainment who took the time out of their busy schedule to participate. We caught up with the Songstress to find out why this was such a important event to her. url “Sometimes we must put the value of life first before the value of self. Cancer has plagued society for too long in 2013 I lost my aunt to this deadly disease. We must be strongto defeat cancer; but to be strong we must get involved, for strength is in numbers. I am here to let everyone know that its is imperative that we all get involved its not just a good cause its about saving lives” This event attracted thousand of participants starting from Knutsford Boulevard to Emancipation Park. Food and refreshments was served and it was definitely a wonderful showing of love and caring. Even though it was a great turn out we still have much more to do.
